I bought a travel set for an upcoming trip, and I'm making sure my travel companions know how to play!
Did you know there's an organization that combines Mahjong and travel? I came across Destination Mah Jongg recently and even signed up for a tournament next year!
One of the many things I love about Mahjong is how women are willing to show up on their own and make new friends. Sure, it's fun to plan these things with your friends, but if your friends are busy or aren't into Mahjong, that shouldn't keep you from showing up!
Sometime in the future, I'm going to host a Mahjong trip to Africa. We'll stop by the Makindu Children's Center, go on Safari, for a week, and play Mahjong! If you want to join me, be sure to say so in the comments!
